Dr. Bott embraces the Japanese idea of the sales process being split between manufacturer, importer and distributor. We add German precision engineering, French savoir-vivre, Spanish passion, Dutch trade spirit and American creativity in marketing. For efficiency we condense this in a lean organization that shares resources across France, Germany, Netherlands, Spain and the USA.

Beginning in 1997 and continuing into the future a range of products has been developed under the Dr. Bott brand.

Our requirements for a Dr. Bott product are high: It must be easy to use, as universally compatible as possible or finely tuned to complement another product. Of course the product should be suitable for retail and look good, too!

So far 40 different Dr. Bott products in a total of 72 variations are proof in point. In fact, at this time all Dr. Bott products are driverless and universally compatible with all operating systems that support the connectors used.

ExtendAir, the antennae for Apple Airport Extreme, won Best of Show at MacWorld Expo 2003 in San Francisco.

Current Dr. Bott products also exemplify the target we strive to achieve in every one of our future products and also in our partner's products that we proudly distribute!

In April 1999 we founded our first subsidiary in Portland, OR - Dr. Bott LLC. This marked the beginning of distribution of our products in North America.

Dr. Bott LLC is an independent company that closely follows the special requirements of the North American market. At this time products of the following companies are proudly distributed: ACME MADE, ADS, ATI Technology, BIRD, Bodelin, BTI Technology, CD Cyclone, Dr. Bott, Elgato, Eroch Studios, felicidade, Galleon Software, Griffin, H2O Audio, harman kardon, iSkin, JBL, Koss, Macally, MacSense, MacSpeech, Marware, Matias, MCA, Micromat, Micro-Solution, Power Support, Road Tools, SendStation, Sonigistix, Sophisticated Circuits, TEN Technology, Tunewear, Unibrain, WiebeTech & Y-E Data.

Today, early in 2007, Dr. Bott KG employs 27, among them three students and two graduates of the Berufsakademie Thüringen (an institution that offers an opportunity to study while working, leading to an equivalent of a BSc degree with the added benefit of broad work experience in 3 years).

Dr. Bott KG, located in Thuringia, the green heart of Germany, serves customers in the German-speaking regions, Europe and Asia.

Dr. Bott LLC, employing another 35, serves the markets in the US, Canada and South America. The former garage has since been exchanged for larger space at the foot of Mount Hood.

Dr. Bott Sarl, launched in January 2003, is our French office, with a fully native team. Like in our other offices local sales, marketing and logistics satisfy our customers' needs in full respect of local traditions.

Dr. Bott SL, active since autumn 2005, supports the Spanish market from just outside Madrid. Over the next months services will be built to measure for the specific needs of the local iPod and Mac markets.

Dr. Bott BV, launched on January 1st, 2006, is the latest branch office. Situated in Venray, a major Dutch logistics hub, our newest addition is fully operational and well-known from day one as our previous exclusive partner AtSite has turned into our branch office.

Dr. Bott is 100% financed by members of the staff in all locations. Outside capital was never required, even in times of explosive growth. To our partners this is a valuable assurance that they will not be subjected to New Economy side effects.

Instead, we combine the virtues of the Old Economy with the drive typical for the New Economy in a very special mix that makes business enjoyable to employees, customers and partners alike.

Solid funding, popular products, an established brand and long-term supplier relations make us look into the future optimistically.
